Sweet Potato Chips

Baked Sweet Potato Chips Recipe - This simple 3-ingredient recipe makes a fabulous healthy snack and side dish.

INGREDIENTS

700g sweet potatoes

1/3 cup olive oil

Salt



METHOD

  1. First, preheat your oven to 150c. Then, prepare several baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper. To make the sweet potato chips, you can use a mandolin slicer to cut the sweet potatoes into very thin slices. If you don't have a mandolin slicer, you can use a knife, but it will take longer.
  2. Once you have the sweet potato slices, put them in a large bowl and pour olive oil over them. Gently toss the slices to make sure they are all coated with oil. Then, lay them out on the prepared baking sheets in a single layer. Sprinkle some sea Salt on top of the sweet potato slices.
  3. Bake the sweet potato slices in the oven for 20-25 minutes. When they are done, they should be crisp and golden around the edges. Let them cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheets before transferring them to a bowl or plastic bag to store. If you find any chips with soft centres, you can put them back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
