Seed Crackers

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup flax seeds

1⁄4 cup other seeds

a pinch of salt or two

n.b.: chia seeds will not work with this recipe



METHOD

  1. Soak seeds over night in filtered water.
  2. Strain and drain the seeds well.
  3. Preheat the oven to 110c
  4. Add the seeds to blender along with salt and pulse to mix and break up the seeds
  5. Spread the mixture thinly over a baking sheet or lined baking tray
  6. Bake for until crispy on both sides (usually about an hour). Turn over if needed.
  7. Break into crackers
